The website www.movergy.com (the "Movergy Community") is operated and managed by Technogym S.p.A, a company incorporated and located in Italy at the address Via Calcinaro 2861, 47521 Cesena (FC) ("We" or "Us").
Note that the Movergy Community may, from time to time, contain links to and from other websites. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check those policies before you submit any personal data to those websites.
We will collect and control the data (including personal data) that you upload onto the Movergy Community for the purposes of collecting, sharing, organizing, making public and processing certain data, including your personal data, in a database accessible via the Internet through the website www.movergy.com (the "Database").
A User under the age of 18 ("Minor") may register to the Movergy Community only after verifiable parental consent is obtained ("Parental Consent"). A Minor must enter the email address of his/her parent(s) in the required field during their registration and an automatic email will be sent to the parent(s) requesting their approval. Only when this Parental Consent is obtained will the Minor have validly registered with us.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from any person who is under the age of 18 or allow them to register without Parental Consent. If it comes to our attention that we have collected personal data from a person under the age of 18 without Parental Consent, please contact us through this help page and we will delete this information as quickly as possible.
Information about yourself. When you sign up for the Movergy Community you provide us with your name, email, gender, age and location. During the registration process we will ask you to profile yourself with the Aspiration Finder . Upon completion of the Aspiration Finder process (click "All set. Let me in"), the result of your profiling with the Aspiration Finder will set your Aspiration Map which we will use for discovering/finding/suggesting your Passions, People, Places, Professionals and Promises . We will give you the opportunity to connect with other people. Once you register you will also be able to add a personal picture, provide other information about yourself, such as, for example, activities you do or you like, and connect with, for example, professionals, other people and places. If you are a professional or a place owner you may create an additional profile where you may add information about your business activity, such as a short resume, list your certifications and describe your services.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive data from you and strongly recommend you not to upload them into your Movergy profile.
Content. You can share content with others. Examples include when you update your status, upload or take a photo, share a link to a video or to other content, create an event, make a comment, cheer, write something on someone's profile or send someone a message. If you do not want us to store metadata associated with content you share in the Movergy Community (such as photos), please remove the metadata before uploading the content.
Information about your movement. You may upload onto the Movergy Community data relating to your movement, such as type, location, date and duration of the activity done by you. These data may be uploaded directly by you or collected automatically through other devices, such as MywellnessKey® , GARMIN or Nike+ via Twitter and, when necessary, will be converted into Moves.
People's information. We offer contact importer tools to help you upload your friends' addresses so that you can find your friends in the Movergy Community and invite your contacts who do not have a Movergy account to join. [If you do not want us to store this information, visit this help page.] If you give us your password to retrieve those contacts, we will not store your password after you have uploaded your contacts' information.
Site activity information. We keep track of some of the actions you take in the Movergy Community, such as tracking your movement, adding connections (including joining an event or adding other people), creating a photo album, cheering another user, indicating you "like" a post or connecting with an application. In some cases you are also taking an action when you provide information or content to us. For example, if you share a photo, in addition to storing the actual content you uploaded, we might log the fact that you shared it.
Access device and browser information. When you access the Movergy Community from a computer, mobile phone, or other access device, we may collect information from that device about your browser type, location and IP address, as well as the pages you visit.
We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns and does not identify any individual.
For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general Internet usage by using a cookie file stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive. They help us to improve the Website and to deliver a better and more personalized service. They enable us:
You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the setting on your browser which allows you to refuse the setting of cookies. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access the Website. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting to refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you log on to the Website.
We will create accounts acquiring personal data from Facebook, Twitter and Gmail. In this event, we may require you either to provide us with additional data to complete your registration and your log-ins can be only made using the selected third-party platform.
We do not own or operate some of the applications or websites that you use through the Movergy Community (such as games and utilities). Whenever you connect with a third-party application or website, we will receive information from them, including information about actions you take.
We may collect information about you from other Movergy Community users or professionals, such as when a friend tags you in a photo, Event or Place, provides friend details, or indicates a relationship with you.
We may also collect additional information from places, such as when you result as member of a facility, take part to an Event.
By submitting your personal data, you agree to their transfer to the Movergy Community and the controlling, storing and processing of your personal data by the Movergy Community. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy and applicable Italian laws. All data you provide are stored on the Manager's third-party providers' secure servers.
Where you have been given a password for accessing certain parts of the Movergy Community, you need to keep this password confidential. You are not allowed to share your password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we will take reasonable steps to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the Movergy Community; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access.
The personal data you give us will be used by the Movergy Community for the following purposes:
Your data will be processed electronically and will be used by Technogym's employees and/or freelance workers, as well as by Technogym's service suppliers, for the sole purpose of carrying out the Movergy Community service / service for the Movergy Community according to the above purposes, including the provision of hosting and technical maintenance activities relating thereto. Your data will be hosted on secure servers located in the territory of the US. This is made upon your express approval.
Providing data is always optional, although any refusal on your part to provide data or make them public in the Movergy Community may make it impossible for us to carry out your request for registering and/or for receiving the service appropriately.
You have the right to ask the Movergy Community not to process your personal data. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes.
